As we continue to consider and care for the most vulnerable in our church family, we highly recommend wearing masks. At the same time, we will continue to align our policies with the CDC guidelines, not requiring fully vaccinated adults to wear masks. This includes all weekend services, our young adult group, and small group gatherings. We will not require proof of vaccination, but we ask for individuals to be responsible and practice respectful cooperation with this revision.
For our Vineyard Youth and Vineyard Kids, face masks will continue to be optional and keep proper social distancing for the time being. As things develop and the CDC continues to give new guidelines for our children, we will continue to revise our plan.
Despite the ever-changing and uncertain season, we’re in, we would like to encourage us all that as we come together to worship, we keep a spirit of compassion, kindness, and grace at the forefront of everything we do. As the Lord tells us in Ephesians to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3
