It’s shoebox season! Join us in making a difference in the lives of children around the world by packing a shoebox full of gifts for Operation Christmas Child đ There are many ways you and your family can be a part of this! You can build your own shoe box or click here to build a box online! Visit our app or tap below to learn more!
*Note: The deadline to return and pay the shipping on shoeboxes is Sunday, November 22nd*
How can you help?
1. Get a Shoebox or pick one up from us
Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately. You can use your own shoeboxes or pick up our colorful preprinted ones, available during our weekend services.
2. Get Your Label
Visit our table in the lobby to choose a label that’s right for you. Whichever you choose, use the label to indicate on your shoebox whether it was packed for a boy or girl and which age category: 2â4, 5â9, or 10â14. Each box requires a $10 shipping label fee.
3. Fill with Gifts
Select a medium to large “wow” item such as a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal, then fill with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Donât forget to also include a personal note and photoâsometimes these are the child’s favorite things to receive!
4. Pray
Most importantly, “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17) for the child who will receive your shoebox gift.
