Job Type: Facilities Maintenance Support Staff
Hours: Part-Time
Supervisor: Facilities Supervisor
Type: Part-time/Non-exempt
Schedule: 20 hours/week, but specific schedule will be determined by the Supervisor
Purpose: The primary function of the maintenance technician is to assist the Facilities Supervisor with repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
Requirements:

Minimum one-year experience required in property maintenance or related-field

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Experience using tools (i.e. power, hand, electric, plumbing, etc.)

Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds
-
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl

Valid driver’s license required

Knowledge of general building and grounds maintenance practices and procedures

Flexibility with schedule to accommodate the needs of the church
Duties:

Co-manage Maintain X ticket-request system
-
Perform and complete any corrective, emergency, and preventative maintenance in a timely manner, including but not limited to: drywall, painting, lawn care, surface-level electrical tasks, and light construction work

Assist with special projects assigned under the direction of the Facility Supervisor or Executive Pastor

Provide general assistance with special events and outreaches

Act as liaison between Facility Supervisor and vendors, when necessary

Provide support to overall facilities team, including Custodian and Set-up Coordinator, as needed
