Vineyard Sprouts Aide

Job Type: Next Gen Support Staff
Hours: Part-Time
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 AM-5 PM
Purpose:  To provide dependable, safe, and nurturing care to the children of Miami Vineyard. This role will require caring for infants.
Requirements:
  1. CPR certification required
  2. Experience working with preferred, but not required
  3. Flexible Schedule
  4. Proficient in using technology, including mobile devices and software platforms, to communicate with parents and manage daily activities.
  5. Ability to respond to emergencies in a calm and effective manner.
  6. Plan and implement games, crafts, and lessons that align with the assigned age group.
Physical
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending
Communication
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to explain instructions clearly and effectively
   7.   Caring and compassionate attitude when interacting with both children and parents.
   8.   Ability to be patient and understanding when working with children and interacting with parents.
   9.   Stamina: Our children are bundles of energy, and our staff needs the energy to match their drive and enthusiasm!
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all areas are thoroughly sanitized before and after children are dropped off and picked up, always maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  2. Assure that all families check-in their children in their respective sign in sheets.
  3. Greet parents as they drop off and pick up their children and help them feel comfortable leaving their child in your care.
  4. Complete daily reports for each child, documenting key information and activities, to provide parents with an update on their child’s day.
  5. Supervise, play, and monitor all children in your care.
  6. Lead story time and planned activities.
  7. Use a cellular device to post timely updates for parents on designated software, ensuring effective communication throughout the day.
  8. Setup and cleanup room(s) after each use.
  9. Encourage children’s spiritual development through song, play, and prayer.
  10. Be familiar with and follow all policies and procedures related to diaper changing and bathroom help, sanitation of toys, sickness, accidents, etc
