Have you or someone you know been arrested in Miami-Dade County but were never convicted? This Second Chance Event is designed to help you take steps toward clearing your record.
✅ Meet with State Attorney’s Office staff and community partners ready to support you
✅ Get answers about your case and next steps toward expungement
✅ Receive free assistance completing your application to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)
✅ No attorney needed – just bring your ID!
Your arrest must have occurred in Miami-Dade County
Your case must be a State-level offense (not federal or out-of-county)
The arrest must NOT have resulted in a conviction
You must bring a government-issued photo ID
Important: FDLE requires a $75.00 processing fee that must be mailed with your application. This is separate from the event, which is free to attend.
